“Kettlebells and Textbooks,” the social history of Bethel has been written by the Rev David Coull. The booklet will sell for $30.00 per copy, which covers the cost of full colour printing and taxes. The book is now available.
Bible Study: Our bible study is looking at the Minor Prophets, their links to the New Testament and their relevance to us today. We gather at 10:00am on Thursdays in the Shaw Room. All are welcome. In preparation you may want to read the following books: the Books of Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi. It’s quite a list, but some of them are very short!!
Coldest Night of TheYear: Souls Harbour Rescue Mission will be leading the local Coldest Night of the Year fund raiser on J+February 28. The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly fundraising walk in support of local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness… because it’s cold out there.
